I'm starting a new blog today. I know, I know, blogging is dead. But writing never ends.
For several years, I've kept a blog over at Sea of Memes where i've mused on the process of becoming an information professional, participating in the 23 Things program, the Social Web and my journey through my studies in the library and information industry, as well as other things to do with my life as a musician, and my love of film and popular culture.
It was a little bit disparate, and I've decided to keep my musings about information, libraries and study over at Sea of Memes until the end of my degree. I'll be keeping Magic Packets as a more general blog of things about which I'm passionate. I think I'll just let it unfold while I find my voice, but there will definitely be writing about books, reading, writing, film, music and songs. From there, I'll see how it takes shape.
